1. How often should you sealcoat?

Ans : We recommend every 2 years

2. How long do you need to wait to walk or park on your driveway after the sealcoat is applied?

Ans : 24 hours to walk, 48 hours to park or drive.

3. Why am I seeing tire marks even though I waited?

Ans : Tire marks may occur sometimes and that is normal. These should disappear within a week or 2, however, if they do not, we are happy to come out and fix the problem for free.

4. What if it rains?

Ans : If our product has at least an hour to dry on the top layer the weather should have no effect on it.If it does however, we would be more than happy to come back out and take care of it for you at no additional cost to you.

5. Do you use coal tar to seal?

Ans : No, we use a thicker, darker, and more environmentally friendly product called Pitch Black.

6. How does scheduling work?

Ans : We schedule 7-14 days out and call you 24 hours before we come out.

7. Do I need to be home?

Ans : No.

8. Will sealcoat help with the dip or sinking in my driveway?

Ans : No, dips or sinking require removal and replacement of the base layer of the driveway. We at Guardian also offer this service.
